In this blog we shall be looking at this great places of (in my opinion) worship, the libraries. The greatest places of knowledge. If history has taught us anything, it is that as humans, we are extremely fascinating. With the raises and falls of great empires over the centuries, I have chosen one of the greatest. The Byzantine Empire and what its libraries have to show us.
As the Byzantine Empire was a unity of many cultures across what is now Europe, Asia and Africa, it is absolutely fascinating. The main things we will be looking at are:
- Brief history of the Empire, the rise and the fall, the dominant characters and cultures and we'll also have a look at the vast reach of its hands over the many countries (33 distinct countries today to be more specific) it engulfed.
